1 2Android BeamLargeFiles Sample 3=================================== 4 5This sample demonstrates how to transfer large files via Android Beam. After the initial 6handshake over NFC, file transfer will take place over a secondary high-speed 7communication channel such as Bluetooth or WiFi Direct. 8 9 10This feature requires Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) or above. Unlike traditional Beam, 11your application will not receive an Intent on the receiving device. Instead, the system 12will save the file to disk and display a notification that the user can select to open 13the file using a standard ACTION_VIEW Intent. 14 15Pre-requisites 16-------------- 17 18- Android SDK 23 19- Android Build Tools v23.0.3 20- Android Support Repository 21 22Getting Started 23--------------- 24 25This sample uses the Gradle build system.
