32
If you are interested in using these brands to indicate their association
33with your device, adhere to the guidelines on this page. These guidelines
34correspond to and complement the

40
41
Here are manufacturer guidelines for the Android brand and related
42assets.

43
44
Android in text

45

46
Android™ should have a trademark symbol the first time it appears in
47 a creative.

48
"Android" should always be capitalized and is never plural or possessive.
49

50
The use of “Android” on hardware, packaging or marketing materials of
51 device is restricted to
52 Android-compatible devices
53 only.

54
“Android” should never be used in the name of your product or as the
55 primary or dominant mark on your packaging or device.

56
"Android” should be used only as a term to refer to the operating system
57 (OS) of your device. If you are unsure whether your use meets our guidelines,
58 follow this simple test: If you can replace "Android" with "the Android
59 platform" and the text still makes sense, then you may use this term.
60

61
Incorrect: "Android XBrand Phone"

62
Correct: "XBrand phone on Android"

63

64

65
You may use “with Android” in plain black text with your logo. If used
66 with your logo, "with Android" should be no larger than 90% of your logo’s
67 size. First or most prominent instance of this use should be followed by a
68 ™ symbol.

69
Android may be used only as a descriptor, as long as it is
70 followed by a proper generic term. It cannot be framed as the product name or
71 brand of your device.
72

73
Incorrect: "Android XBrand Phone"

74
Correct: "Android mobile device"

75

76
Any use of the Android name must include this attribution in your
77 communication:

78
Android is a trademark of Google Inc.
